The Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Technology Expo – North America (EV Tech Expo) returns to Huntington Place in Detroit, Michigan, on October 11–14, 2027, on the same floor and dates as The Battery Show.

What it is

EV Tech Expo is Informa Markets' show for electric vehicle design and manufacturing. It shares its hall, conference and networking programme with The Battery Show, so a single visit covers both battery and vehicle-side suppliers.

Exhibitors cover battery manufacturing, EV powertrains, thermal management, energy storage, testing and materials. The organiser lists its audience as engineers, executives, R&D specialists, manufacturing and quality professionals, and purchasing decision-makers.

Practical points

• Shape of the week. At the 2026 show, workshops ran on the Monday, the expo and conference on Tuesday to Thursday, and a closed-door Executive Summit for senior leaders on the Thursday.
• Short last day. In 2026 the expo ran 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. on its first two days and closed at 3 p.m. on the final day.
• Booths. Exhibit space for 2027 is being sold now through the organiser.
