Canadian International AutoShow 2027

The Canadian International AutoShow is a public auto show held each February at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Automakers show their latest vehicles alongside curated exotic and collector displays, indoor and outdoor test drives and the Canadian Car of the Year Awards. It dates back to the 1974 Toronto Auto Show.

The Canadian International AutoShow runs February 12–21, 2027 at Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Toronto.

What it is

This is a public auto show with general admission tickets. Automakers display their latest vehicles, and curated feature exhibits and test drives fill the rest of the floor. The organizer calls it "Canada's total automotive experience." It began in 1974 as the Toronto Auto Show, set up by the Toronto Automotive Dealers Association (today's Motor Vehicle Retailers of Ontario).

It moved to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in 1986 and has been there since. In 2026 the show used both the North Building (255 Front St West) and the South Building (222 Bremner Blvd).

On the floor

Feature exhibits change every year. In 2026 they included:

• the TD EV Test Track, where visitors drive hybrids and EVs without leaving the show floor;
• Camp Jeep, an indoor off-road ride-along course;
• an outdoor test drive program in downtown Toronto;
• The Exotica Tour of rare supercars and hypercars, and the Cobble Beach Classics collector-car display;
• the Canadian Car of the Year Awards, hosted at the show.

Tickets, hours and transit

In 2026 all tickets were digital and cost less bought online in advance. The options included a family pass, a 2-day pass, an adult after-5 p.m. ticket and single-day promotions such as Super Tuesday. As of this writing, the organizer's show-information page still showed last year's details.

In 2026 the show opened at noon on the first day and closed at 6 p.m. on the final Sunday, with evening hours on the days in between. The convention center connects directly to Union Station, so the show can be reached by subway, GO Transit, UP Express and VIA Rail.
