The Utah International Auto Expo is an annual January consumer auto show in Sandy, Utah, where visitors compare the latest cars, trucks, SUVs, and electric and hybrid models from automakers side by side.

What it is

This is a public new-vehicle show where visitors see current models from automakers under one roof. The organizer lists sedans, pickups, SUVs and crossovers, plus electric and hybrid models.

Visitors can compare vehicles side by side and talk with product specialists on the floor. The organizer says brands are added as they confirm and that the floor plan and exhibitor list can change without notice.

Hours

The show opens on a Friday and runs through Monday:

• Friday: 11 AM – 8 PM
• Saturday: 10 AM – 8 PM
• Sunday: 10 AM – 8 PM
• Monday: 10 AM – 8 PM

Tickets and getting there

• Tickets cost less online, through January 14, than at the door. Senior and military (DOD ID) rates are available, and children 12 and under get in free on every day of the show.
• Ticket purchases require a credit card, debit card or tap-to-pay.
• Parking is free.
• By transit, take the TRAX Blue Line to Sandy Expo Station, a short walk from the building. FrontRunner riders can transfer to TRAX at Murray Central.
