A biennial Houston expo and technical conference for the valve and actuator industry, organized by KCI Publishing (KCI World) with Messe Düsseldorf North America. It brings end users, EPCs, manufacturers and distributors together around valves, actuators, sealing and fugitive emissions.

Valve World Americas Conference & Exhibition runs July 14–15, 2027 in Houston.

What it is

The organizers call the event the meeting point for the valve and actuator industry. It brings end users, manufacturers and the rest of the valve and actuator supply chain together. The exhibition covers valves, actuators and sealing equipment, and the organizer lists "250+" exhibitors.

The conference is organized by valve specialists from manufacturing, distribution and EPC/end-user companies. It covers valves, actuators and fugitive emissions in oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, new energy markets and other industries. KCI Publishing Corporation organizes the show together with Messe Düsseldorf North America.

Hours and admission

• Wednesday, July 14: exhibition 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Thursday, July 15: exhibition 9:00 AM–4:00 PM, an hour shorter

The expo is free for visitors. Conference delegates also get access to the expo floor and receive certificates of completion, which helps those working toward professional development hours (PDH).

The 2027 conference program

The organizer says the 2027 program includes several new topic areas. Topics on the 2027 list include:

• Valve design and applications
• Reliability, maintenance and asset management
• Standards, certification and compliance
• Water and wastewater, and pharmaceutical and life sciences

The call for papers accepts technical submissions only; commercial content is refused. The abstract deadline is October 23, 2026.
