What it is

The Rocky Mountain Conference on Magnetic Resonance (RMCMR) is a scientific meeting, not a trade show. Its aim is to promote the latest advances in magnetic resonance and its applications in the biological, chemical, engineering and quantum information sciences. It combines two sister conferences, the EPR Symposium and the Solid-State NMR Symposium, and a joint session of the two is held every other year.

The 2027 meeting is the 66th. Its conference committee is drawn from Yale University, the University of Denver, the University of Pittsburgh and Iowa State University.

The organizers put particular weight on graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and early-career researchers, through contributed talks and poster sessions. There are also workshops and social and networking events.

Registration and practicalities

Registration for the 66th conference opens in January 2027. The conference FAQ covers the rest. Graduate and undergraduate students qualify for a student rate, and a student ID may be requested at badge pickup.

Credit cards are accepted, and cash is not accepted onsite. Visa support letters are only issued to attendees who have submitted an abstract and are registered and paid in full, and there is a cut-off date for requests.
