Biotech Showcase is an annual January investor conference in San Francisco where private and small- to mid-cap biotech companies present to investors and biopharma executives. It includes Seed Showcase and DigiMed Showcase and is co-produced by Demy-Colton and Informa.

Biotech Showcase runs January 11–13, 2027 in San Francisco.

What it is

Biotech Showcase is an investor conference where private and micro- to mid-cap biotechnology companies present to, and meet with, investors and biopharma executives. Two specialized tracks run inside it. Seed Showcase is for young companies with under $2M in funding that are developing new therapeutics.

DigiMed Showcase is for companies applying technology to biology and human health. Presenting companies range from seed-stage startups to established multinationals, across platform technologies, therapeutic areas, digital health, devices and diagnostics. Demy-Colton and Informa co-produce the conference.

Format: in person, then digital

The conference is hybrid. The in-person program runs January 11–13.

Digital partnering follows the next week, January 19–20, 2027, on the partneringONE platform, which also hosts the one-on-one meeting scheduling. A Digital Pass covers only the online partnering days and on-demand content, not the in-person event.

How presentations are organized

• Presenting companies are grouped into 18 therapeutic and technology tracks, each with its own day and time block.
• Each track opens with a 15-minute analyst-led market overview, followed by Q&A.
• Each company gets a dedicated 15-minute presentation slot.
• Media Alley is a new hub for press release distribution, on-site interviews and possible live podcast recordings.

Registration shape

Qualified investors and research analysts can request complimentary registration. Qualifying press can apply for a press pass.

Other in-person attendees register for an all-access pass, and presenting companies buy a presentation package that includes one. Registering early costs less.
