BusinessAnalystWorld is a professional-development conference for business analysts. PMBA Conferences runs it in Chicago together with ProjectSummit, its project-management counterpart, so the program serves both disciplines.

The organizer calls it "the largest conference for Business Analysts in North America". The audience listed includes business analysts and BA team leads, systems and requirements analysts, business process engineers, project managers and coordinators, portfolio directors, and IS/IT managers.

How the three days work

• October 5–6: symposium sessions and keynotes. Sessions are grouped into tracks: Power Skills, Strategy & Transformation, Technology Tools and Innovation, and Delivery & Execution. Most one-hour sessions carry 1 PDU and 1 IIBA CDU.
• October 7: workshops. These are full-day, hands-on workshops from 9:00am to 3:00pm, each worth 6 PDUs and 6 IIBA CDUs.

The organizer publishes a CDU tracking sheet and PDU reporting guidelines on the event site for claiming the credits.

Registration

Each registration is for one person, and badges cannot be shared. Continental breakfast, snack breaks and lunch are included. Group discounts are available through the organizer, but they do not apply to the super-early-bird rate.
