Canadian Dairy XPO 2027

The Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX) is a dairy industry trade show held each April in Stratford, Ontario. It serves dairy producers, farm owners, herd managers and students with exhibitors from around the world and a one-day producer business summit. It is organized by DLG Markets North America, part of the German Agricultural Society.

What it is

The Canadian Dairy XPO (CDX) is a dairy industry trade show. The organizer places it "in the heart of Ontario's leading dairy region," bills it as "Canada's largest dairy industry showcase" and says that each year more than 300 exhibiting companies from around the world present their latest innovations to over 17,000 professional attendees.

The show is built for dairy producers, farm owners, herd managers, students and anyone else connected to the dairy industry, and families are welcome. It is organized by DLG Markets North America, the North American division of the German Agricultural Society (DLG).

Program around the floor

• Canadian Dairy Business Summit: a one-day educational program for producers on April 6, 2027, the day before the show opens, running 9 a.m.–5 p.m. The 2027 program had not been announced as of this writing.
• DairyFEST: the evening networking party on April 7, 4–6 p.m. The Genetics for Generations charity genetics auction for SickKids follows at 6:30 p.m.
• Youth Day (April 8): a résumé blitz at participating exhibits that connects students with dairy employers, a youth dairy showing clinic, and a scavenger hunt through the CDX mobile app.
• Both days: a complimentary producer pancake breakfast from 8 to 9:30 a.m., hoof-trimming demonstrations in the Innovation Hall, and the Genetics In Motion showcase in the WeCover Cow Coliseum.

Pavilions and practicalities

German and Netherlands international pavilions are in the Innovation Hall. A complimentary shuttle bus sponsored by MNP runs from select hotels during the show.

International attendees can get an invitation letter from the organizer. It warns that Canadian visa processing can take three months.
