It brings together material suppliers, component manufacturers, machining and testing firms, and the engineers, R&D teams and buyers who use advanced ceramics. Ceramics Expo runs April 19–21, 2027 at Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Cleveland.

What it is

Ceramics Expo is a trade show and conference for the technical, or advanced, ceramics supply chain. The organizer calls it "the meeting point for the entire technical ceramics supply chain", and the floor runs from raw materials and powders through to components, systems and finished applications. Exhibitors include material suppliers, component manufacturers, precision machining and finishing firms, testing and quality specialists, and logistics providers.

The audience is engineers and R&D teams, product and component designers, manufacturing leaders, procurement and supply-chain staff, and the OEMs and end users who buy ceramic technologies for aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, energy, electronics and medical applications. The organizer calls Cleveland "the home of Ceramics Expo".

How the three days work

• April 19: an Exhibitor and VIP Networking Reception. The organizer describes it as invite-only, so most visitors should plan around the next two days.
• April 20–21: the exhibition and the conference.
• Registration has been free. The organizer's FAQ says the visitor badge covers the free-to-attend conference, so it is not a separate ticket. The same badge also gets you into the co-located Thermal Management Expo.
• A VIP pass is offered to C-suite executives and senior leaders, with private networking sessions and curated content.

On the program

The call for speakers for the 2026 conference listed topics including ceramic matrix composites, additive manufacturing, compound semiconductors, refractories, solid-state batteries, bioceramics and electroceramics. The Innovation Hub returns in 2027 as a showcase for startups, researchers and students. The 2027 agenda had not been published when this was checked, so look for it on the organizer's conference page.
