WATS Orlando (World Aviation Training Conference and Tradeshow) 2027

The World Aviation Training Summit is an annual Orlando conference and exhibition on airline simulation and training for pilots, cabin crew, maintenance technicians and ab initio schools. It is organized by Halldale Group for airlines, regulators, training academies, OEMs and training suppliers.

The World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) runs April 21–22, 2027 at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort, Orlando.

What it is

This is the 29th WATS, organized by the Halldale Group, which serves the training and simulation community and has been part of Montgomery Group since January 2026. It brings together airlines, regulators, training academies, OEMs and solution providers. The conference is entirely about airline simulation and training for pilots, cabin crew, maintenance technicians and ab initio flight schools, through presentations and moderated discussions.

The exhibition features fixed-wing training providers, equipment and simulator manufacturers, and software and content providers. The organizer cites 1000+ attendees, 70+ exhibitors and 50+ countries.

Tickets and networking

• Every attendee ticket covers all conference sessions, the exhibition, the networking evening, lunches and refreshments.
• A special discount rate for airline, ab initio, ATO and MRO attendees runs until March 14, 2027. Early-bird rates for other ticket types close March 1, 2027.
• Structured networking includes a Welcome Icebreaker Reception and an Exhibitor Networking Afternoon, along with panels, roundtables and workshops.

Rosen Shingle Creek is at 9939 Universal Blvd., about 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport. Halldale's sister summit in Europe, the European Aviation Training Summit (EATS), runs November 3–5, 2026 at the Estoril Congress Centre in Cascais, Portugal.
