FAMEX - Feria Aeroespacial México 2027

FAMEX (Feria Aeroespacial México) is an aerospace, security and defense fair organized by Mexico's Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional through the Mexican Air Force. It combines flying and static aircraft displays, exhibition pavilions, conferences and scheduled B2B meetings for industry, airlines, governments and international delegations.

What it is

FAMEX is Mexico's aerospace, security and defense fair. It is organized by the Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional through the Mexican Air Force (Fuerza Aérea Mexicana). The organizer describes it as a meeting point for the global aerospace industry.

It draws companies from the industrial, civil and military sectors, plus commercial airlines, universities, governments, embassies and international delegations. The program combines flying and static aircraft displays, innovation forums, keynote conferences and B2B networking.

In the organizer's pitch to exhibitors, the draw is direct access to buyers. Because the defense ministry runs the fair, it convenes the people who authorize purchases in the sector. Business meetings are scheduled in advance with matched counterparts rather than left to aisle traffic.

How the show is laid out

• Exhibition pavilions – indoor areas grouped by aerospace sector
• Outdoor exhibition area – aircraft and large equipment shown up close, including airplanes, helicopters and complete systems
• Business chalets – private spaces for meetings, presentations and special events
• Static display and air show – combat aircraft, trainers, transports, helicopters and business aviation, both on the ground and in flight. The organizer says the 2027 flying display will be announced as participants are confirmed.

Guests of honor and tickets

Each FAMEX names a guest-of-honor country and a Mexican state. For 2027 the Mexican Air Force chose Italy and Hidalgo, announced on April 24, 2026.

Tickets are sold through the fair's ticketing site. Exhibitors request space through the fair's commercial office, which replies with availability and rates.
