What it is

COTERIE is a women's contemporary fashion trade show run by Informa as part of Fashion by Informa, alongside MAGIC, PROJECT, SOURCING and OFFPRICE. It brings brands together with retailers and buyers, stylists, influencers and press, twice a year in New York. The organizer traces it back to the 1980s, when it began as 25 brands at the Plaza Hotel.

On the floor

COTERIE covers advanced contemporary and contemporary women's fashion, from emerging to established labels, at moderate to designer price points across apparel, accessories, footwear, home, gift and beauty. The floor is laid out in "neighborhoods" — curated groupings of complementary brands — including seasonal areas for winter and après-ski collections and for resort and swimwear, and a globally curated neighborhood (formerly "EDIT") for brands with a refined point of view.

A Business Solutions Center hosts technology and service providers with education sessions on operational topics. Buyers register and brands apply to exhibit through the organizer's site.
