EMS World Expo 2026

EMS World Expo is HMP Global's annual conference and exhibition for emergency medical services, with preconference workshops, sessions across nine learning tracks and an exhibit hall. It is for paramedics, EMTs, medical directors, EMS educators, chiefs and administrators, and it is co-located with the NAEMT Annual Meeting.

EMS World Expo runs September 28–October 2, 2026 at the Orange County Convention Center West in Orlando.

What it is

EMS World Expo is an annual conference and exhibition for emergency medical services professionals, run by HMP Global. The organizer describes it as bringing the EMS community together for practical education, peer conversations and an exhibit hall where attendees can test gear.

The program lists more than 200 sessions across nine learning tracks: Health and Wellness, Leadership and Management, Operations, Education, Fundamentals, Critical Care, Clinical Paramedicine, Community Paramedicine and Research. The organizer counts more than 300 exhibiting companies and more than 7,000 EMS professionals.

Who it's for

The organizer's audience list covers paramedics, EMTs and AEMTs, military medics, physicians, EMS medical directors, EMRs and first responders, EMS educators and instructor/trainers, EMS and fire chiefs, officers and administrators, emergency managers, firefighters and rescue personnel, tactical EMS providers, and RNs, APRNs and PAs.

How the week is structured

The event runs five days: two days of preconference workshops followed by three days of main-conference sessions. Monday's preconference program includes hands-on courses such as SPARC Academy (Selective Prehospital Advanced Resuscitative Care), Advanced Burn Life Support, an intro to point-of-care ultrasound for EMS providers, a FlightBridgeEd mechanical ventilation workshop, the EMS Supervisor Leadership Academy and several NAEMT courses. Registration opens at 7:00 AM on Monday, September 28.

Co-located events

EMS World Expo is co-located with the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Annual Meeting. The Prehospital Care Research Forum and EMS World also present the 2026 International Scientific Symposium at the show, with peer-reviewed posters and oral abstract sessions of EMS research.

Continuing education

EMS World Expo is a CAPCE Organizational Provider, and most presentations and courses are accredited for CEUs, which NREMT accepts toward recertification. The organizer states there is no official cap on CE credits an attendee can earn; credits are claimed by scanning a session QR code in the CAPCE mobile app.

Select presentations carry ASTNA nursing accreditation. CE for NAEMT-hosted preconference sessions is handled by NAEMT.

Future dates

The organizer lists the show in New Orleans, LA for September 27–October 1, 2027, then San Antonio, TX in 2028.
