Interior Design Show Vancouver 2026

IDS Vancouver is the Interior Design Show's annual West Coast event. It shows furniture, lighting and interior products to designers, architects, specifiers and design-minded consumers, and includes a trade day with accredited seminars. It launched in 2004 as Design Vancouver and is run by Informa Canada.

Interior Design Show Vancouver runs September 24–27, 2026 at Vancouver Convention Centre West, Vancouver.

What it is

The organizer calls IDS Vancouver "the Pacific platform for all things design." It shows new products, furniture and design concepts to trade professionals and to the public. The show launched in 2004 as Design Vancouver. Chicago-based Merchandise Mart Properties Inc. (MMPI) bought it in 2007, and Informa Canada bought it in 2012.

It is now the West Coast version of IDS Toronto. Interior designers, architects, product specifiers, builders and developers, and hotel owners are accredited to attend the Trade Day.

Show hours

• September 24, 7–10 p.m.: the IDS Party, the opening-night event on the show floor, with its own ticket
• September 25, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.: Professional Trade Day
• September 26, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.: trade and public day
• September 27, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.: public day

Trade registration and seminars

Trade registration covers the show floor Friday through Sunday, plus the accredited sessions and keynotes. The IDS Seminar Program is a full day of eight accredited seminars.

Public-day ticket holders can also attend the keynotes, which are free with a show floor pass. The organizer offers packages that combine the Opening Night Party with trade registration or a weekend pass.

Features on the floor

The features at the 2026 show:

• STILL/not still, a forest installation built from BC wood
• Reflection, the entrance feature
• ILLUMINATE, a feature curated by ThinkL Lighting Studio
• Prototype, a juried platform for products not yet in production
• Studio North, a marketplace for custom work and limited-run collections
• The District and Collect, where visitors can buy home decor and art

The sibling show, IDS Toronto, runs January 21–24, 2027 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre North Building.
