ITS America Conference & Expo 2027

The ITS America Conference & Expo is the annual intelligent transportation systems event hosted by ITS America and built by RX. Public agencies and private technology firms gather for conference sessions, live demonstrations and an expo covering AI, automated vehicles, V2X and digital infrastructure.

ITS America Conference & Expo runs April 12–15, 2027 at Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City.

What it is

The show brings together the intelligent transportation systems community: public agencies, private-sector technology firms, consultants and researchers. It is hosted by ITS America and built by RX. The organizer says it has "a near-even mix of public and private sector attendees." Attendee groups include state DOTs, cities and planning organizations, engineers and consulting firms, transit and urban mobility operators, investors, and transportation operators and manufacturers.

The 2027 program is organized around six themes: artificial intelligence, automated vehicles, digital infrastructure, multi-modal mobility, emerging technologies, and V2X/connected transportation. Data, cybersecurity, privacy, resiliency and workforce development run across all six.

Monday is conference-only. The program includes technical and research paper sessions, non-commercial special interest sessions, and plenaries curated by ITS America. Attendees can earn PDH credits by attending conference sessions.

On the floor

• Transportation Hub: fireside chats, happy hours, a headshot studio open to all badge holders, and live recording of The Transportation Channel podcast
