Premiere Columbus 2026

Premiere Columbus runs October 11–12, 2026 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center's North Building, 400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio.

What it is

Premiere Columbus is a beauty trade show and education event run by Premiere Shows, which also holds shows in Anaheim, Orlando and San Antonio. The organizer says the show has run for over 26 years and calls it the Midwest's "ultimate classroom" for beauty professionals. The weekend combines an exhibit floor of beauty brands selling products, tools and show-only specials with a program of classes, hands-on workshops, live Main Stage presentations and competitions, including a barber battle.

Classes cover hair and color, nails, barbering, spa and wellness, makeup, lashes and brows. New for 2026 are a Color Stage, new Main Stage experiences and Ulta Beauty education.

Who can attend

The show is not open to the public. It is for licensed cosmetologists, barbers, nail technicians and estheticians; salon, spa and barbershop owners and staff; non-licensed pros such as makeup artists, tattoo artists and braiders; instructors; and students enrolled in beauty programs. Credentials are checked for every registration.

The FAQ sets the minimum age at 16 for attendees, models and exhibit staff, with a waiver for anyone aged 16 to 18. Family members and friends who are not in the trade may not attend.

Education and CE hours

Most classes are included with a show pass. Hands-on workshops cost extra and are added when you register or later from your registration dashboard. Show passes cost more on the day than in advance, and are sold right through the show.

For Ohio license holders, the organizer lists the renewal requirement as a 3-hour infection control and safety course (which the show offers) plus a 1-hour laws and rules course taken through the state board. It says cosmetology CE hours are due January 15, 2027. Educators upload CE completions to the state board.

Licensees from other states should check with their own board.

Getting there

There is no shuttle from hotels, but rideshare drop-off is near the show entrance. The closest parking is the North Surface Lot and Goodale Garage. The organizer has hotel blocks through onPeak and airline discounts.
