Raleigh Bass & Saltwater Fishing Expo 2027

A three-day public fishing show at the NC State Fairgrounds in Raleigh, produced by Southeast Productions, Inc. Tackle shops, marine dealers and charter operators exhibit gear for the coming season, and bass and saltwater anglers give seminars.

Raleigh Bass & Saltwater Fishing Expo runs January 8–10, 2027 at NC State Fairgrounds, Raleigh.

What it is

This is a three-day public fishing show, timed so anglers can restock before the season. It is produced by Southeast Productions, Inc., a Greensboro company that also runs boat shows, fishing expos and gift markets in North Carolina and Virginia. The organizer says that each year over 130 local, regional and national companies exhibit tackle, rods and reels, apparel, maps, charters, sunglasses, boats, motors, electronics and knives.

Retail and specialty tackle shops bring discounted stock. The Jim Graham Building is given over to fishing boats and marine products from regional dealers.

Hours and admission

• Friday: 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.
• Sunday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m. (the shortest day)

Tickets are sold at the door or online, and one ticket is good for all three days. The organizer says a return pass is available at the exit. Seniors, military and junior anglers get reduced rates, and young children get in free.

Parking at the fairgrounds is free. Only trained service animals are admitted; emotional support animals are not. Complimentary wheelchairs are lent at the entrance, first come first served, with photo ID.

Seminars and attractions

Seminars run on all three days. On the 2026 schedule they were held in four areas:

• Bass Tub seminars: back wall of the Graham Building
• Freshwater seminars: back wall of the Expo Building
• Two saltwater seminar rooms: in the Graham Building

Bass Tubs of Oklahoma supplies a stocked simulation tank as the backdrop for the bass seminars. A trout pond simulator lets visitors fish for a fee. At the time of writing, the seminar page still showed the 2026 lineup, and the organizer says the 2027 schedule is coming.
