WMS - Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo 2027

The Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo (WMS) is a Canadian trade show that brings woodworking machinery manufacturers and suppliers together with furniture, cabinet and architectural woodwork makers, with free WMS Live education on the floor. It is held in Toronto, owned by CCI Canada Inc. and produced by Woodworking Network.

WMS - Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo runs November 17–19, 2027 at Toronto Congress Centre, Toronto.

What it is

WMS is billed by its organizer as "The National Event for Canada's Wood Industry." It is a three-day expo linking Canada's professional woodworking buyers with machinery manufacturers and suppliers. The 2025 show drew professionals from across the secondary wood industry, including makers of residential and office furniture, cabinets, architectural woodwork and components.

Exhibits range from advanced and classical woodworking machinery to software, cabinet hardware and decorative surfaces. Floor categories include:

• Panel processing, CNC and solid wood processing machinery
• Cutting tools, and sanding and finishing equipment and materials
• CAD, CAM and ERP software; portable power tools
• Wood waste management and dust collection
• Hardware, wood components, raw materials, and closet, garage and home organization products

WMS is owned and operated by CCI Canada Inc. and produced by Woodworking Network. It moved to the Toronto Congress Centre, near Pearson International Airport, in 2025 and returns there for 2027.

Hours and admission

• Wednesday, Nov. 17: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Thursday, Nov. 18: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday, Nov. 19: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, a shorter last day

No one under 16 is admitted to the show floor.

Education

The main education program is WMS Live: free keynotes and sessions from industry leaders and exhibitors, presented each day on a stage in the Congress Centre's North Hall. The 2027 agenda is still being developed. The show will also hold its third biennial Student Day, presented with the Wood Manufacturing Council, which brings high-school and post-secondary woodworking students onto the floor.
