What it is

This is a matchmaking event for the automotive supply chain in Mexico. Its matchmaking platform builds each participant a personalized schedule of one-on-one B2B meetings that connect buyers with suppliers, and the organizer invites attendees to meet automakers, OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

Buyers come from supply chain, procurement, purchasing, engineering and R&D roles; suppliers sign up to sell capabilities, products or services. The organizer is abe (advanced business events).

Sectors on the organizer's list run from vehicle components and systems (body, braking, electronics, engine, fuel cells and batteries, interiors, lighting, infotainment, transmission and drivetrain) to vehicle categories such as light, electric and hybrid, and autonomous vehicles, buses, cargo trucks, and construction, mining and agricultural equipment.

Getting there

• Registration for buyers and suppliers had not opened at the time of writing.
• By road, federal highway No. 57 links Mexico City and Querétaro, a drive of about two to three hours depending on traffic.
• Primera Plus runs a shuttle bus from Mexico City airport terminals T1 and T2 to Querétaro's central bus terminal.
• The organizer partners with Revolugo for hotel bookings near the event.
