About AAPS PharmSci 360 (formerly AAPS PharmSci Annual Meeting & Exposition)

PharmSci 360 is the annual meeting and exposition of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS). Its scientific programme is organised in tracks including preclinical and translational sciences, bioanalytics, manufacturing and analytical characterization, and formulation and delivery, alongside poster sessions, an exhibit hall and a Professional Advancement Track. It moves between U.S. convention centers: New Orleans in 2026, Anaheim in 2027 and Charlotte in 2028.

AAPS PharmSci 360 2027 in Anaheim

PharmSci 360, the annual meeting and exposition of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS), is scheduled for November 14–17, 2027 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. AAPS publishes the date and venue on its future-events page; the 2027 programme has not been announced yet.

What it is

PharmSci 360 is AAPS's yearly meeting for pharmaceutical scientists across industry, academia, contract organisations and regulators. The 2026 meeting's scientific programme was organised into four tracks:

Preclinical, Clinical and Translational Sciences
Bioanalytics
Manufacturing and Analytical Characterization
Formulation and Delivery

Alongside them, a Professional Advancement Track of about a dozen sessions covers career strategy, job-seeking skills and the business side of science for scientists at every career stage. Themes for 2026 ranged from in silico and quantitative modelling, new approach methodologies and AI/ML in drug development to bioanalysis for cell and gene therapies, continuous manufacturing and patient-centric drug product design.

Planning ahead

Rotating host city. The meeting moves each year: New Orleans in October 2026, Anaheim in November 2027 and Charlotte, North Carolina on October 22–25, 2028.
Exhibiting. AAPS already carries a 2027 exhibitor and sponsor page for companies planning a booth.
Other AAPS meetings. AAPS also runs the National Biotechnology Conference, set for May 10–13, 2027 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Rockville, Maryland.
