Beautyworld Japan's Tokyo fair runs May 17–19, 2027 at Tokyo Big Sight, East Halls 1–8. For 2027 the organizer is renaming it Beautyworld Tokyo.

What it is

Messe Frankfurt Japan has run the Tokyo fair as a B2B beauty trade fair since 1998. Exhibitors from Japan and abroad show products, services and technology across aesthetics, cosmetics, hair, nails, eyelashes, female care, skincare and professional salon equipment. For 2027 the organizer says the fair will have 13 product-specific zones.

Creative Hair, a hair zone added in 2017, will take up a whole hall, with a hair stage and closed-door business seminars for salon owners and managers. Sleep + Recovery is a new zone.

Visitors include people from aesthetic, hair, nail and eyelash salons, massage studios and fitness clubs, along with distributors, wholesalers and retailers, manufacturers, hotels and spas, and medical and wellness centers. The organizer reported preliminary figures of 68,174 visitors and 838 exhibitors for 2026.

The fair is trade-only and closed to the public. Online visitor registration is required, and the organizer plans to open it in February 2027. No one under 16, no students and no one accompanied by children is admitted.

Seminars and events

The seminar page still describes 2026. That year's program included the Esthetic Stage, the Hair & Nail Stage (live demonstrations and salon-management talks), exhibitor presentations and association seminars. Clinic Care sessions were open only to medical professionals.

Most seminars are in Japanese. In 2026, four Esthetic Stage seminars had English subtitles, and seminars are not streamed afterward. Overseas buyers can book business-matching meetings with Japanese exhibitors, which need approval in advance.

Sister fairs

Messe Frankfurt Japan runs regional Beautyworld fairs at INTEX Osaka (October 19–21, 2026), Marine Messe Fukuoka (February 8–10, 2027) and Port Messe Nagoya (July 12–14, 2027).
