ESX - Electronic Security Expo 2027

The Electronic Security Expo (ESX) is an annual event for owners and leaders of electronic security and life safety integration, dealer and monitoring companies, combining peer-led education, networking and an expo floor closed to end users. It is owned by the Electronic Security Association.

ESX - Electronic Security Expo runs June 28–July 1, 2027 in Tampa.

What it is

ESX is a four-day event for owners, executives and leaders of electronic security and life safety companies, meaning integrators, dealers and monitoring professionals. The organizer sums it up as "peer-led education, executive networking, and implementation strategies for integrators and dealers." The Electronic Security Association (ESA) owns the show.

Who can get in

ESX is not open to end users. The organizer describes it as open exclusively to the pro-installer and integrator channel, and tells attendees to come prepared to ask exhibitors for advice on marketing, sales, installation training and merchandising, not just product features. Product categories on the expo floor include:

• Video surveillance
• Intrusion detection
• Fire detection
• Digital health
• IT/networking

Education

The program is built by an advisory group of industry practitioners and organized into four tracks: Field Operations, Sales & Marketing, Management, and Monitoring. Two cross-cutting focus areas cover fire and life safety, and RMR (recurring monthly revenue). Owners and senior leaders can go further in the ESX Executive Experience, a set of interactive workshops.
