EXPO REAL 2026

EXPO REAL 2026 runs October 5–7, 2026 at Messe München in Munich, Germany. It is the international trade fair for real estate, investment and infrastructure, organized by Messe München. EXPO REAL 2027 is already set for October 4–6, 2027.

What it is

EXPO REAL covers the full value chain of the real estate industry: development, financing and realization, across office, hotel, retail, logistics and institutional residential property. Exhibitors range from established property companies to startups, and the organizer pitches it to the industry's decision-makers, who come to hold talks, build relationships and start new projects. The organizer calls it "Europe's largest real estate network." For 2025, Messe München reported 1,742 exhibitors from 34 countries and 42,000 participants from 70 countries across seven exhibition halls.

Two areas are newer. Transform & Beyond by EXPO REAL, in Hall A3 since 2024, is given over to the industry's future and transformation topics. In 2026 investable infrastructure gets its own forum for the first time, InfrastructureNow, with a conference program and a special show on energy, defense and digital infrastructure.

Conference program

The conference is spread across forums and stages in the halls; Messe München's 2026 program release lists more than 200 panels and over 650 speakers over the three days. Besides InfrastructureNow and Transform & Beyond, the forums include the Investment Forum, the Flexible Housing Forum with a special exhibition on housing concepts, the Grand Plaza Stage for retail in Hall B3, and the Asia Investment Conference. Access to the conference program in the forums and conference rooms is included in the trade fair ticket, with no separate registration.

Hours and tickets

• Monday, October 5: 9am–7pm
• Tuesday, October 6: 9am–7pm
• Wednesday, October 7: 9am–4pm (a shorter last day)

Exhibitors have access from 7:30am. The turnstiles open at 8:53am so visitors can reach early appointments. Visitors can buy a three-day ticket, a two-day ticket for October 6–7, or a one-day ticket for the last day, which is also CareerDay, the fair's program for students, graduates and young professionals meeting employers in the industry.

There is a reduced ticket for students and trainees. Each person orders their own ticket online, one per person, and tickets are not exchanged at the venue. The ticket also covers Munich public transport (MVV zones M–6) to and from the fairgrounds on the day of the visit, with ID.
