Hotel & Resort Design South is a free-to-attend sourcing and networking show in Miami Beach. It connects designers, architects and specifiers with hotel and resort brands from the Southern US, Caribbean and Latin America. It runs alongside CSI Design Expo Americas.

HRDS - Hotel & Resort Design South runs June 23–24, 2027 at Miami Beach Convention Center, Miami Beach.

What it is

Hotel & Resort Design South (HRDS) is a sourcing and networking show for hotel and resort interiors. The organizer says it "caters exclusively to those involved in the design of world-class hotels, resorts, and private island destinations in the Southern States, Caribbean, and Latin America." Visitors include hotel and resort operators, developers, interior designers and architects, specifiers and procurement teams, project managers and consultants. Exhibitors are interior-product suppliers, and some show individual products in the Product Showcase, a gallery of display podiums.

HRDS is held alongside CSI (Cruise Ship Interiors) Design Expo Americas, so visitors can also meet CSI exhibitors who supply both the cruise and hotel markets.

Admission and hours

Attendance is free. The pass covers the show floor on both days, the full content schedule, and networking events such as the Happy Hour.

Registration for 2027 has not opened yet. People who work for a hotel, resort, private island destination or design studio can apply for a VIP pass, which adds a lounge, the official Opening Party, lunch and a B2B meeting service.

• Wednesday, June 23: expo 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., followed by a Happy Hour from 5 to 6 p.m.
• Thursday, June 24: expo 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Program and networking

The organizer says the two days combine educational content, an exhibition and the Product Showcase. Its 2027 feature list includes the official Opening Party, the Happy Hour drinks reception, expert talks, Speed Networking and creative workshops. The 2027 content schedule has not been published yet.
