Art Basel Miami Beach 2026

Art Basel's American show, held each December in Miami Beach, where galleries from five continents show Modern and contemporary works by established masters and emerging artists. The fair is divided into sectors, running from its main Galleries sector to solo presentations by young galleries.

Art Basel Miami Beach runs December 4–6, 2026 in Miami Beach.

What it is

Art Basel calls this its American show. Its own description: "leading galleries from five continents show significant works by masters of Modern and contemporary art, as well as the new generation of emerging stars." The fair is split into sectors, each with its own focus:

• Galleries, the main sector, for international Modern and contemporary galleries
• Meridians, for large-scale projects that break the usual booth layout
• Nova, for works made within the last three years by one, two or three artists
• Survey, for artistic practices of historical relevance
• Kabinett, for curated selections shown in a separate part of a gallery's booth
• Positions, for young galleries presenting solo shows by emerging artists
• Magazines, for art publications; Conversations, a talks program; and Zero 10, a curated space for art of the digital era

Hours and access

The three dated days are the public days. Before them come two private days that are invitation only.

• Wednesday, December 2: First Choice and Preview (by invitation)
• Thursday, December 3: First Choice and Preview, with the Vernissage from 4pm to 7pm (by invitation)
• Friday–Sunday, December 4–6: public days, 11am–6pm, with a ticket or VIP card

The show is held at the Miami Beach Convention Center, 1901 Convention Center Drive.

Tickets

Standard day tickets use a timed entry slot and allow a single entry. Once you leave, you cannot get back in, and the earliest entry is 12pm. A First Access ticket lets you in from 11am.

Reduced tickets are available to students, visitors aged 13–18, seniors, veterans and Miami Beach residents, with proof required. Children 12 and under get in free with a ticketed adult. A combination ticket also covers Design Miami.

Art Basel asks visitors to buy only through its official online ticket shop, never from unknown third parties, and tickets cannot be refunded. ArtNexus runs daily guided tours, which do not include fair admission.
