MD&M West 2027

MD&M West, formerly Informa Markets Engineering West, is Informa Markets' manufacturing event in Anaheim. It combines MedTech, Automation, Design & Manufacturing, Plastics and Packaging sectors with conference programs for medical device engineers, executives and manufacturing professionals.

MD&M West runs February 9–11, 2027 at Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim.

What it is

MD&M West, formerly Informa Markets Engineering West, is Informa Markets' West Coast manufacturing event. It covers five sectors on one show floor:

• MedTech: MedTech companies showing work in cardiovascular care, medical device manufacturing and general healthcare.
• Automation: robotics, sensors, motion control and automated systems.
• Design and Manufacturing: 3D printing, CAD/CAM software and testing equipment.
• Plastics: injection molding, coatings and biocompatible polymers.
• Packaging: form-fill-seal, labeling, barcoding and protective materials.

It is aimed at engineers (design, project, packaging and plant), executives, R&D staff, production and quality professionals, and purchasing.

Show hours

• Tuesday, February 9: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Wednesday, February 10: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Thursday, February 11: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (closes an hour earlier)

Hall E opens 30 minutes early, at 9:30 a.m., each day. Registration and badge pickup are near the Hall E entrance.

The organizer suggests collecting your badge on the Sunday or Monday before opening to avoid the Day 1 lines. Conference and workshop hours had not been published when this page was written.

Conferences and education

Expo passes and conference passes are sold separately, and both cost less if you register before the show than on-site. The most recent education lineup on the organizer's site, which still carries 2026 program names, includes:

• The MedTech Conference: three days of sessions on design, next-generation technologies, compliance, cybersecurity, supply chain resilience and quality.
• Sustainable Manufacturing Conference: a two-day program on automation, smart factories, digital twins and lifecycle analysis.
• SPE/MPD MiniTec: a two-day program on medical plastics.
• Hands-on workshops: topics include medical device risk management, sterilization, and an IoPP medical device packaging course, plus a half-day Leadership Summit.

The show floor also has keynotes, open-theater education sessions and complimentary Coffee Talks and Lunch & Learns. Complimentary shuttles run between many nearby hotels and the convention center.
