What it is

New England Made is a juried wholesale show of New England-made giftware, specialty food and home furnishings, run by Giraffe Events of Saco, Maine. Exhibitors are manufacturers of products including home décor, pottery, apparel, accessories, jewelry, toys and games, candles, books, cards and prints, glassware, bath and body products and furniture, along with specialty foods such as spices, candy, sauces, gourmet mixes and baked goods. The organizer holds a spring show in Portland and an autumn show in Boxborough, Massachusetts.

• Saturday, March 13: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Sunday, March 14: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
• Monday, March 15: 9 a.m.–4 p.m., the only day that opens early.

Who can attend

The show is open to the trade only, not the general public. Buyers must be qualified wholesale buyers of giftware, specialty food or home furnishings and bring two forms of retail business ID, such as business cards, business checks, a resale number or a business invoice. No one under 16 is admitted, cameras and video equipment are not allowed, and strollers and rolling carts are not permitted on the floor.

Planning notes

The organizer lists a show-rate lodging arrangement with a nearby Portland inn, with a booking deadline before the show, and other hotels near the venue and downtown as a courtesy. Future spring dates are already set for March 11–13, 2028 and March 10–12, 2029. The autumn 2027 show runs September 14–15 at the Boxboro Regency in Boxborough.
