WonderCon 2027

WonderCon is Comic-Con International's annual spring comics and popular-arts convention in Anaheim, California. Its exhibit hall of comics, original art, toys and merchandise sits alongside panels, film and TV programming, autographs and the Masquerade. It is run by the nonprofit San Diego Comic Convention and open to the public.

What it is

WonderCon is the spring comics and popular-arts convention run by San Diego Comic Convention, the nonprofit behind Comic-Con International. It is a public fan event, not a trade-only show.

The organizer describes an Exhibit Hall of "900+ exhibitors" selling comics, original art, toys and merchandise from artists, publishers and retailers. The program includes movie and television presentations, comics-professional panels, autographs, games, portfolio reviews and the Masquerade costume competition.

Badges

• Every attendee who buys a badge needs their own confirmed Comic-Con Member ID, and all badge sales run through the Member ID Portal.
• 3-Day badges sell at an early-bird discount until February 11, 2027. Single-day badges for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are sold at the standard rate until they sell out. Buying all three single days does not earn the discount.
• Juniors (13–17), active-duty U.S. military with ID and seniors (60+) pay a reduced rate.
• Children 12 and under are free with a paying adult, up to two per adult. Child badges are registered on-site only, and the child must be present.
• Each attendee must pick up their own badge.

Industry attendance

Comics creators, animators, genre illustrators, science-fiction and fantasy authors and editors, educators and librarians can apply for professional status. Once approved, they register a badge for each show separately and can request complimentary badges for up to two guests.

There is no on-site registration for adult professionals or their guests. Separate programs cover press, program participants, retailers and exhibitors.
