What it is

The Protein & Antibody Engineering Summit, run by CHI (Cambridge Healthtech Institute), part of Cambridge Innovation Institute. The organizer describes it as "the Essential Conference for Streamlining Biologics Development." The summit covers protein and antibody engineering, drug development, immunotherapy, radiotherapy and AI/ML-driven biologics research.

The organizer says it has run "for over 20 years." It is aimed at scientists and industry professionals in biologics: biotech and pharma leaders, R&D experts, academics and technology providers. Alongside the talks is an exhibit hall of technology and service providers.

How the program works

PEGS runs as parallel conference programs. Attendees can "track-hop" between concurrent programs, and registration options let them build their own agenda. Programs on the 2026 schedule included:

• Display of biologics, engineering antibodies and machine learning for protein engineering
• Advancing and engineering bispecific and multispecific antibodies, and emerging T cell engagers
• Antibodies for cancer therapy and antibody-drug conjugates
• Immunotherapy and biologics for autoimmune diseases
• Difficult-to-express proteins, protein expression and production workflows
• Biophysical methods, characterization and immunogenicity
• Radiopharmaceutical therapy and emerging peptide therapeutics

Training seminars and short courses sit alongside the main conference programs. Registrants get on-demand recordings of presentations after the event. The recordings do not include short courses, training seminars, Q&A or networking sessions.
