RE+ Microgrids 2027

A microgrid conference and expo from RE+ Events, produced by SEIA and SEPA with program support from the EMerge Alliance. It covers DC and hybrid AC/DC microgrids, behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter applications, and related policy, and has run in Houston alongside RE+ Texas.

RE+ Microgrids 2027

RE+ Microgrids runs March 24–25, 2027 at George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston.

What it is

RE+ Microgrids is a conference and expo about microgrids, including DC and hybrid AC/DC systems. It is produced by the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) through RE+ Events, with program support from the EMerge Alliance.

EMerge is a not-for-profit industry association that promotes standards for DC and hybrid AC/DC power in buildings and communities. Education sessions cover behind-the-meter and front-of-the-meter applications, along with advocacy and policy.

The organizer lists these program topics:

• the market landscape and resiliency
• serving vulnerable communities and emergency response
• utilities and regulatory innovation
• community microgrids
• what it takes to make conditions right for microgrid expansion

The audience is energy professionals, policymakers and industry advocates, plus buyers and suppliers across industry segments.

Alongside RE+ Texas

In 2026, RE+ Texas and RE+ Microgrids ran in Houston as two concurrent events with a combined expo hall. The organizer's calendar puts RE+ Texas at the George R. Brown Convention Center on the same March 24–25, 2027 dates.

Registration

Members of national SEIA and SEPA can register at the member rate, and membership is verified. The organizer says all proceeds go back to the two associations' research and education and to SEIA's advocacy.
