Rock 'n' Roll San Jose 2027

Rock 'n' Roll San Jose runs October 2–3, 2027 in downtown San Jose. The organiser's 2027 registration page lists the 5K on Saturday, October 2, and the half marathon and 10K on Sunday, October 3.

What it is

Rock 'n' Roll San Jose is the San Jose race weekend of the Rock 'n' Roll Running Series, part of The IRONMAN Group. The organiser leans on the city's "Speed City" nickname, taken from the San Jose State track teams of the 1960s, and describes a flat course built for every pace, from first-timers to runners chasing a personal record. Live bands, DJs and cheer squads line the downtown course.

Distances and race weekend

• Half marathon (13.1 miles) and 10K on the Sunday, both routed past murals and entertainment through downtown.
• 5K on the Saturday, through Silicon Valley.
• Remix Challenge. Runners can add the Saturday 5K to a Sunday race and run both days.
• St. Jude Heroes and Team St. Jude entries are available for runners fundraising for St. Jude.
• KiDS ROCK is the children's race, and the weekend includes a health and fitness expo.

Course maps, the event schedule and traffic-impact details are on the organiser's race site; when checked in October 2026, the 2027 registration page showed registration as closed.
