Future Leaders in Travel 2027

Future Leaders in Travel is an annual event focused on connecting the next generation of travel professionals with industry leaders. It provides networking, mentorship, and career development opportunities for emerging talent.

Future Leaders in Travel 2027

Future Leaders in Travel runs August 22–25, 2027 at Atlantis Paradise Island in Nassau, Bahamas. It follows the 2026 event in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

What it is

Future Leaders in Travel is a hosted event run by Northstar Travel Group and powered by its trade title TravelAge West. It brings travel advisors aged 22 to 40 together with travel suppliers to build working relationships early in the advisors' careers. The program mixes general content sessions — keynotes, panels and workshops on professional development written by the TravelAge West team — with one-on-one appointments between advisors and suppliers, an outdoor group activity and evening social events.

Who can attend

• Advisors must be between 22 and 40 and work as full-time sellers of travel. Attendance is by application: the organiser asks applicants to show their personal brand, their view of the industry and their business goals, and to provide at least two industry references known for at least a year. It recruits first through referrals from Global Travel Marketplace alumni and past Future Leaders attendees.
• Accepted advisors attend as guests, with airfare, four nights' hotel, meals during the event and airport transfers included; a non-refundable administrative fee is due at registration.
• Suppliers take part through a participation package covering one representative, meals during programming, the outdoor activity, evening events and the one-on-one meetings.
