Connect Marketplace is a buyer-supplier event of the Connect meetings brand. Hosted meeting and event planners hold pre-scheduled, AI-matched appointments with destinations, hotels, venues and event suppliers, alongside a trade show floor and education that earns CMP credits.

Connect Marketplace runs August 23–25, 2027 at Anaheim Convention Center, Anaheim.

What it is

Billed by the organizer as "The Marketplace for the MICE Industry", Connect Marketplace is a buyer-supplier event for meetings and events professionals. On the buying side are event organizers, meeting planners, event management companies and procurement agencies.

Suppliers include convention and visitors bureaus, national and regional tourist offices, hotels, conference and exhibition venues, airlines and transportation companies, technology providers, and gifting and experiential agencies. The site is published by Informa Connect.

The format is built around pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings matched by AI. The organizer describes it as a "reverse tradeshow format", with curated networking and structured appointments. There is also a trade show floor of event technologies and services.

How attendance works

• Hosted buyers apply to attend. Planners who qualify have their airfare to Anaheim and three hotel nights covered, and receive up to 45 marketplace appointments with suppliers, networking events and education.
• Suppliers buy packages tiered by the number of guaranteed buyer appointments, from 12 to 40, each including marketplace access, networking and education.

Buyers and suppliers register in separate streams, and registering early locks in the previous year's rates.

Tracks and education

Buyers and suppliers are grouped into marketplace tracks: Association, Corporate, Informa, International, Specialty and Sports. The education program counts toward CMP credit hours. The first day includes a first-timers' orientation, speaker-showcase sessions and an opening reception.
